Mission Accomplished: Sandra Taveras

My family and I have been members of the Y for 2 years. The first thing that caught our eye was the Christian bases and values of the YMCA. We were excited that our children could participate in activities centered around Christ. After being here, and now volunteering at the front desk, and as cheer and soccer coach, the Y has become my second home with an extended family. The YMCA kept me from becoming depressed when our family was going through heartache. The prayers and encouragement from the staff got us through those hard times. This is the best place to volunteer. My husband, children, and myself have developed friendships throughout the YMCA that will last a lifetime. The Y is a great place to work on all aspects of your life - spirit, mind, and body.

Halloween at the Y - Friday, Oct 31st at 6:30pm on the YMCA Soccer fields. We'll have hayrides, carnival games, and trick-or-treating for the kids. Bring your family to spend Halloween in a safe, Christian environment... right here at your YMCA!
